The role

This role supports the Systems Test Automation team by maintaining and enhancing CI/CD infrastructure, test automation frameworks, and hardware-based laboratory systems for the Omnipod ecosystem. The engineer collaborates with multiple teams to define and execute the Systems DevOps strategy, focusing on infrastructure reliability and process standardization. The position requires a minimum of three days onsite per week in Acton, MA.

What you would do

  • Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based development and test environments.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks for operational efficiency.
  • Lead containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Design and support MQTT-based messaging infrastructure.
  • Manage DevOps platforms and test automation infrastructure for lab environments.

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 8 years in DevOps, Software, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • At least 5 years designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
  • At least 3 years with embedded systems, development boards, and hardware/software interfaces.
  • At least 3 years integrating Android and iOS devices into automated testing and CI/CD.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Python and Java.
  • Experience with Linux systems, source control, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
