What you would do
- Lead product demonstrations and technical evaluations for prospects
- Build proofs of concept against customer data environments
- Answer architectural, governance, security, and performance questions
- Model customer data and build initial analyses in Golden
- Establish semantic models and drive customer adoption
- Identify product friction and propose improvements
Must have
- Senior-level experience in solutions, sales, or analytics engineering
- Owned a technical evaluation or deployment end-to-end
- Fluency with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery
- Experience with dbt, semantic layers, and analytics engineering
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of analytics workflows
- Comfortable working in SQL and warehouse environments daily
- Visible instinct to teach and share knowledge publicly
- Comfort with pre-GA ambiguity and building from scratch
Nice to have
- Existing following or content footprint in data community
- Background at a BI or analytics vendor
- Hands-on experience as analyst, analytics engineer, or forward deployed engineer
- Experience with forward deployed or embedded delivery model at early-stage company
