What you would do

  • Design and implement solutions for cloud infrastructure.
  • Build and operate infrastructure for FedRAMP-authorized environments.
  • Ensure reliable and secure operation of AWS GovCloud environments.
  • Administer and troubleshoot production Kubernetes environments.
  • Investigate Kubernetes and infrastructure incidents through root-cause analysis.
  • Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code components using Terraform.

Must have

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Based on U.S. East Coast or consistent East Coast schedule.
  • At least three years of DevOps or related engineering experience.
  • At least two to three years of hands-on Kubernetes in production.
  • Built or designed cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Practical experience with Ansible for configuration management.
  • Experience building or supporting FedRAMP-authorized infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with AWS and AWS GovCloud.
  • Designed and implemented sophisticated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Programming experience with Python, Java, or Go.

Nice to have

  • Direct participation in FedRAMP authorization or continuous monitoring.
  • Experience operating AWS GovCloud infrastructure.
  • Implementing or maintaining security controls.
  • Defining or supporting authorization boundaries.
  • Resolving POA&M items.
  • Collecting technical evidence for audits.
  • Managing continuous monitoring and vulnerability remediation.
  • Working within FIPS requirements.
