What you would do
- Build, configure, test, and implement robots and automation equipment
- Program robotics and analyze, troubleshoot, repair, and develop equipment
- Design software systems to control robotics
- Collaborate with industrial engineering to implement automation for full production lines
- Plan data acquisition architecture for automation equipment
- Manage equipment data read/write for fast and intelligent switching
Must have
- Knowledge of electrical controls including PLC, IPC, servo systems, and safety circuits
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain electrical control systems
- Mechanical knowledge of modules, cylinders, transmission components, and fixtures
- Experience with Maglev systems and AGV design and operation
- Knowledge of vision systems including AOI cameras, lenses, and calibration
- Design knowledge for precision technical plans, blueprints, and drawings
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and cost optimization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, SAP, and Six Sigma
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Flexibility in a dynamic work environment
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Robotics or Mechanical Engineering
- Contract manufacturing experience
