What you would do
- Mentor AppOps engineers and guide automation scripting.
- Own production reliability and enforce SLOs and SLAs.
- Lead major incident response and root cause analysis.
- Direct release, deployment, and change operations.
- Architect and maintain operational observability.
- Establish operational standards and automate workflows.
Must have
- Lead-level DevOps and AppOps experience.
- Deep knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on expertise with enterprise observability stacks.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and application lifecycles.
- Proficiency in deployment strategies and traffic management.
- Advanced scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Strong command of Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.
- Understanding of security and compliance in operations.
- Proven engineering leadership and incident response.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills.
- Strong ownership mindset for 24x7 reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Azure Administrator/Architect certification.
- AWS SysOps/DevOps Professional certification.
- ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
- SRE Foundation certification.
- Terraform Associate/Professional certification.
- Other industry-recognized DevOps/SRE credentials.
