What you would do

  • Work on both front-end and back-end technologies
  • Take an idea from concept to reality iteratively
  • Turn design documents into functional code
  • Work independently and with team members including QA
  • Refactor and understand legacy code towards open standards
  • Write, edit, and maintain unit and feature tests

Must have

  • 5+ years experience with PHP, modern frameworks, HTML5, jQuery, Vue, SASS & CSS
  • Experience designing and delivering features using modern AI-assisted development tools
  • Ability to work on both front-end and back-end technologies
  • Ability to take an idea from concept to reality iteratively
  • Ability to turn design documents into functional code
  • Ability to work independently and with team members including QA
  • Comfortable refactoring and understanding legacy code
  • Comfortable writing, editing, and maintaining unit/feature tests
  • Structured approach to development, testing, and deployment
  • Provide correct bug fixes
  • Take ownership of work and projects, establish deadlines, communicate progress
  • Manage time across multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with AWS and cloud-based web applications
  • Experience with Jira and Agile environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS
