What you would do
- Design and own end-to-end architecture of Microsoft Fabric Data Lakehouse
- Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold medallion architecture
- Mentor data development team through guidance, code review, and pair work
- Build and maintain data pipelines across 30+ source systems
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption to leadership
- Collaborate with data and IT leadership on platform direction
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, data science, computer science, math, engineering, or related field
- Relevant experience may substitute for degree
- 10 or more years of hands-on data engineering experience
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric including Lakehouse, Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Eventstream, KQL, Notebooks, Semantic Models, Purview
- Strong command of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, ADLS Gen2, Delta Lake, Delta Sharing, APIM
- Expert-level SQL and Python skills
- Experience with Spark and PySpark
- Proven experience designing medallion or equivalent Lakehouse architectures at scale
- Experience integrating ERP, HRIS, CRM, and field ops systems into centralized data platform
Nice to have
- Experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog in multi-platform scenarios
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview for governance, lineage, and sensitivity labeling
- Microsoft certifications like Fabric Analytics Engineer or Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Background in EPC, construction, energy, or infrastructure industries
