What you would do
- Manage and enhance the Power BI environment including workspaces and permissions.
- Design and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for institutional reporting.
- Develop and enhance data models and semantic models for reporting tools.
- Integrate data from systems like SIS, LMS, CRM using connectors and APIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs.
- Ensure data governance, quality, privacy, and security best practices.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Minimum three years of professional experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Expertise in Power BI report development, dashboard design, and data modeling.
- Experience with DAX, Power Query, and data visualization.
- Experience building scalable datasets and semantic models.
- Experience managing Power BI workspaces, permissions, and refreshes.
- Experience integrating data using SQL, APIs, dataflows, or connectors.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with SQL Server, Azure, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience developing workflow automation with Power Automate.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to define requirements and solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with enterprise systems like SIS, LMS, CRM, or ERP.
- Professional experience in higher education or institutional analytics.
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, or iterative development environments.
