What you would do

  • Lead and grow the team responsible for data ingestion, experiment computation, and stats engine
  • Define technical and scientific strategy for advancing experimentation across cloud and warehouse-native deployments
  • Partner with data scientists and engineers to turn new statistical methods into scalable product capabilities
  • Evolve data and computation architecture to support complex experiment designs and customer datasets
  • Engage with customers to understand experimentation challenges and translate them into platform improvements

Must have

  • Strong data science background with hands-on experimentation, statistics, or causal inference experience
  • Experience leading teams of 10-15 members building statistically rigorous data-intensive products
  • Familiarity with experimentation methods like variance reduction, sequential testing, Bayesian inference
  • Experience building large-scale data ingestion and distributed computation systems across cloud and data warehouses
  • Ability to connect statistical innovation, data architecture, and customer needs to define a roadmap

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or quantitative field
  • Experience with experimentation platforms, feature management, product analytics, or ML infrastructure
  • Experience building warehouse-native products or computation within Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks
  • Experience supporting experimentation for large-scale consumer or B2B products, marketplaces, or social networks
